Air City

Commissioned by London Borough of Bromley (supported by the Outer London Fund), 2012

A day long event designed to celebrate Bromley town centre and its hopes for the future. An eye-catching installation was created to engage Saturday shoppers and communicate town centre development plans. A giant pop-up balloon forest filled a pedestrianised area of the town centre and people were encouraged to share their thoughts about what they love about Bromley by attaching stickers to the installation. A visual treasure hunt guided participants around North Bromley Village and a mirrored shipping container housed an exhibition about developments in the town, curated and hosted by council representatives.
